K. Bell Expanding to New HQ

El Segundo, Calif.–based legwear maker K.B. Socks Inc. is on an expansion track, having made some key management appointments with plans to relocate its corporate headquarters.

The company in the coming weeks will move to a larger 65,000-square-foot distribution center in Inglewood, Calif.

The building will house its corporate headquarters and feature a state-of-the-art warehouse with a warehouse-operation system as well as energy-efficient lighting and material-handling equipment.

The company has enjoyed double-digit sales growth and anticipates further growth with the launch of its L.E.I. legwear for Wal-Mart stores during the fourth quarter, said Chief Executive Officer Gary Finder.

In addition to the relocation, K. Bell has hired Lin Amos as executive vice president of business development, Kathy Collins as senior vice president of merchandising and sales, and Ander Horne as vice president of sales.

“We are all looking forward to the big move and feel that it will boost the company productivity and camaraderie to an even higher level,” Finder said.
