Bettencourt Tries on Top-Sider
Bill Bettencourt, the former Vans executive, has joined Sperry Top-Sider as senior vice president of sales, marketing and business development. Bettencourt was previously vice president of product and marketing at Vans Inc. and has worked at Arena North America and Reebok International. Lexington, Mass.–based Sperry Top-Sider is a division of the Collective Brands Performance and Lifestyle Group, which is a subsidiary of Collective Brands Inc., whose brands include Airwalk, Dexter, Champion, Zoe & Zac, Lela Rose for Payless, Unforgettable Moments by Lela Rose, Alice + Olivia for Payless, Christian Siriano for Payless and STLP x Airwalk.
