Fall Focus
The recent trade shows in Las Vegas and San Diego ushered in several new trends for Fall '05. With many of the hottest brands in the denim, sportswear, action-sports, streetwear and contemporary markets showing their lines, the shows were perfect places to scout for new trends. <b>MAGIC International</b>, <b>Brighte Las Vegas</b>, <b>Project Global Trade Show</b> and <b>Pool Trade Show</b> were held last month in Las Vegas and the <b>Action Sports Retailer Trade Expo</b> and <b>Agenda</b> trade show were held in January in San Diego. Styles were diverse for women, ranging from bohemian looks with a global flair to feminine Victorian styles with a turn-of-the-century sensibility. Menswear got sophisticated with the modernization of styles inspired by the British dandy. Men's and women's apparel ranged from ultra-casual denim, army-inspired fare and Western looks to luxe styles with rich fabrications such as jacquard, leather and fur.
