...Another round of hot temperatures this weekend and into Monday...
High pressure over the middle part of the country is forecast to
build back to the west and over northern California this weekend
and into early next week. This will bring another round of hot
daytime temperatures and very warm overnight temperatures to the
northern and central Sacramento Valley and surrounding foothill
locations.
High temperatures from 105 to 110 are forecast over the northern
half of the Sacramento Saturday through Monday, along with low
temperatures mainly in the 75 to 80 degree range. Surrounding
foothill locations will remain very warm overnight as well.
There will be a noticeable increase in humidity as Monsoon
moisture spreads northward beginning tonight and Friday. Although
some of this moisture will exit the region this weekend, it may
feel a little more humid than normal at times.
A modest Delta Breeze will keep the southern Sacramento Valley
generally near 100 degrees during this stretch of hot weather.
