...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THIS EVENING...
* Timing: Strong winds continue through the evening.
* Winds: Southwest to west 15 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 50 mph.
Gusts up to 50 to 60 mph possible in wind prone locations.
* Impacts: Gusty winds will create areas of strong cross winds,
making travel difficult along north-south highways including
U.S. 395 and I-580. Strong winds may also bring down tree
branches.
* Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to
capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions
improve.
