    .HIGH SURF WILL CONTINUE ALONG CENTRAL COAST BEACHES THROUGH
    FRIDAY. THE LARGE SURF WILL RESULT IN MINOR BEACH EROSION AND
    FREQUENT AND STRONG RIP CURRENTS. WITH UNUSUALLY HIGH TIDES
    COINCIDING...THERE WILL ALSO BE A RISK OF MINOR COASTAL FLOODING
    DURING HIGH TIDE.
    SOUTH OF POINT CONCEPTION...HIGH TIDES AND ELEVATED SURF WILL
    BRING A RISK OF MINOR COASTAL FLOODING TO AREA BEACHES THROUGH
    FRIDAY AFTERNOON. THE HIGHEST RISK WILL OCCUR AROUND THE MORNING
    HIGH TIDES...BETWEEN 10 AM AND NOON...AND ON LOW-LYING AREAS NEAR
    THE BEACH.

    * COASTAL FLOODING...MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOWS ARE POSSIBLE FOR LOW-

    THROUGH THIS MORNING.
    * TIDES...ASTRONOMICAL HIGH TIDES NEAR 7 FEET ARE PREDICTED FOR
    AREA BEACHES DURING THE MORNING HOURS THROUGH TODAY.
    * IMPACTS...MINOR FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS ALONG THE BEACH.
    STRONG RIP CURRENTS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE AT BEACHES.

    A COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT MEANS THAT THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR
    MINOR AND SHALLOW FLOODING. COASTAL COMMUNITIES SHOULD TAKE
    PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT VULNERABLE LOW-LYING AREAS FROM
    OVERFLOWING SEA WATER IF IT IS SAFE TO DO SO DURING LOW TIDES.
