...Hot temperatures Sunday and Monday northern and central
Sacramento valley and surrounding foothills...
.Building high pressure will bring hot temperatures over the
weekend with daytime highs from 10 to as much as 15 degrees above
normal. The northern Sacramento valley could see high temperatures
as high as 110 degrees on Monday with warm overnight lows
especially in foothill locations.
...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON SUNDAY TO 8 PM PDT
MONDAY...
* TEMPERATURE...Daytime highs Sunday and Monday from the upper 90s
in the foothills to 105 to 110 in the northern half of the
Sacramento valley. Overnight lows only dropping down into the
mid 70s to near 80 in some locations.
* IMPACTS...Long outdoor exposure may increase chances for heat
related illness for sensitive groups such as children or the
elderly.
