* Temperature: Highs 100 to 108 degrees in valley locations today.
The hottest temperatures are expected at elevations below 4000
feet across west central Nevada, including Lovelock, Fallon and
the Dixie Valley. A cooling trend in temperatures is expected
Friday and for the weekend.
* Impacts: Hot temperatures into this evening will bring an
increased risk for heat-related illnesses. Impacts should wane
Friday and over the weekend as temperatures ease down.
