Stylist Kelly Love has been curating Los Angeles’ fashion underground since 2007, but now she has a permanent address in downtown L.A.

She and partner Fez produced a grand opening shindig April 27 for Haus of Love, their boutique which showcases avant garde streetwear labels such as Zalez Studio, Dimepiece LA, Rojas, Gypsy Junkies, So Wet, Mama Doňa, and OBR Designs.

The new shop is located at 600 S. Spring St., a burgeoning retail neighborhood in a downtown L.A. spot, which also is the site for shops and design ateliers such as SixHundred, Clade, Kapsoul, Buttons & Bows, and Round 2 LA.

Love said that the Haus of Love space also will be used as a gallery and a place for stylists to browse the latest. “It’s our little playground to use as a platform for artists,” she said. Well, play on Kelly.
