The shop offers contemporary clothes, footwear, jewelry and accessories fromseven Israeli designers such as Maya Negri, Noritamy and Mandinka. Retail price points range from $100 to $500 said store manager Shelby Crane. “It’s not what you’re going to see in department stores,” Crane said. “It is very imaginative. It is eclectic.”

Veteran fashion stylist Bernard Jacobsmade an appearance at the festive boutique opening. Look out for more Ruti boutiques. The Palo Alto-based Zisser plans to open more of her shops in the Los Angeles area.
