With its sprawling collection of products, Lacoste is scheduled to introduce a performance tennis racquet, called the LT12. There’s also a capsule clothing collection to accompany the limited edition racquet made out of high end performance materials, said Beryl Lacoste Hamilton, a granddaughter of Lacoste founder René Lacoste. She’s also a board member of the French headquartered company.

“It’s a link between elegance and function,” Lacoste Hamilton said of the capsule collection. Technical fabrics and classic Lacoste styling will inform the capsule collection.

The LT12 capsule collection will officially take a bow during the Miami Open tennis tournament, which starts March 23, and is scheduled to be available at Lacoste stores and select retailers.

Lacoste Hamilton, a Miami resident, dropped by Los Angeles in February for the 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards, Lacoste is a presenting sponsor of the awards show honoring achievements in costuming in film, TV and commercial productions.
