Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc. is planning to open a 30,000-square-foot off-price Nordstrom Rack store at Silverado Ranch Plaza in Henderson, Nevada in fall 2001, as well as a full-line store at Fashion Show Mall on the Las Vegas strip in fall 2002...Pegasus Apparel Group, the New York-based luxury conglomerate, and Kay Unger New York have agreed in principle to produce a bridge line under the Pamela Dennis label, which Pegasus acquired approximately one year ago; the new line from Dennis, best known for dressing Hollywood celebrities, is expected to be in stores for resort 2001; concurrently, Susan Sokol, president of Pamela Dennis, has been named president of the Pegasus Apparel Group, which also owns controlling interests in such labels as Angela Amiri, Miguel Adrover, Darryl K. and Judith Leiber.
