New Sourcing Show Set for N.Y.

A new apparel and textile sourcing show, NAMSB WorldSource, will debut in New York this fall in a bid to provide a marketplace for buyers to meet international producers of apparel, textiles and accessories.

The show is organized by NAMSB, a New York-based retail trade organization that produces menswear trade shows under the names NAMSB Show and NYMS.

WorldSource organizers are targeting sourcing and product-development executives from domestic companies representing manufacturers and retailers, sourcing agents, buying offices and other importers to attend the new show, which will be held at Show Pier 92, Oct. 14–16. To date, exhibitors include manufacturers and producers from the Caribbean Basin, sub-Saharan African nations, China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Eastern Europe, according to Jack Herschlag, show director.
