Reinis and Reinis Close Shop to Join Longstanding L.A. Firm

The law firm of Reinis and Reinis has closed its doors and attorney Richard Reinis will join downtown law firm Buchalter, Nemer, Fields and Younger as counsel.

Buchalter, Nemer, Fields and Younger represent many factors to the apparel industry, Reinis said.

“We’ve been unable to provide a broad range of support to our apparel clients,” he said, adding that Reinis and Reinis has been providing legal services for trademark, copyright, licensing, general real estate and general corporate work for its clients.

“But now we have a bigger firm, which means that we can provide a broader range of services and more depth to our larger clients,” he said.

Reinis will also relinquish his duties as head of the Compliance Alliance, a contractor monitoring service he founded in 1995. Laura Worsinger will now head the organization, he said.

“My role to [Buchalter, Nemer, Fields and Younger] is of counsel and I’m working with some clients who need special attention from somebody with my experience,” Reinis said.

Reinis founded his practice in 1981, opening an office in the California Mart.—Alison A. Nieder
