Red Hot!

Fashion fans were treated to an evening of red-hot fashion courtesy of designer Alan Del Rosario, who unveiled his Holiday collection of sweeping ballgowns and flirty separates at the Century Club in the Century City section of Los Angeles. The runway presentation featured plenty of bias-cut ruffled skirts—some of the best were paired with simple white tank tops. Notable accessories were his romantic rose corsages that were scattered across tank tops or worn strung together as a belt. Equally interesting were his black tulle bustles and one-sleeve capes. The designer, who is known for his women’s eveningwear, also included a few menswear pieces—trimmed in red rose corsages. The looks on the runway were red hot, but Del Rosario spiced up the presentation with a few pieces in chartreuse satin. —Alison A. Nieder
