Charlotte Russe Appoints New VP
Charlotte Russe Holding Inc., the San Diego-based young women’s specialty retailer, announced the appointment of Mark A. Hoffman as senior executive vice president and chief operating officer. In the new position, Hoffman will report to chairman and chief executive officer Bernie Zeichner.
Prior to joining Charlotte Russe, Hoffman was chief operating officer of Anaheim, Calif.-based Pacific Sunwear, where he oversaw distribution, logistics, real estate and construction for more than 500 Pacific Sunwear and d.e.m.o. stores. Before that, Hoffman was president and chief operating officer of Hoffman Estates, Ill.-based Claire’s, a nationwide accessories chain.
Under its three concepts, Charlotte Russe, Rampage and Charlotte’s Room, Charlotte Russe operates a total of 177 stores in 26 states and Puerto Rico.—Nola Sarkisian-Miller
