L.A. Fashion Week Fall 2002: PCT

Pacific Coast Travelers (PCT) presented power showcasing at its best at its fashion show on April 13 at the California Market Center (CMC), showing more than 100 lines in less than half an hour.

The event, hosted in the CMC’s lobby atrium, was both a fashion show and a reception for the PCT trade show, with buyers taking notes on the lines in the show before moving on to the showrooms and the PCT Fashion Pavilion on the 13th floor of the center.

PCT, one of the most well-organized fashion shows, began promptly and ran through the parade of fashions in junior, missy and contemporary segments, with price points ranging from very moderate to high and garments ranging from screened T-shirts and sweaters to leather jackets and a full variety of denim. —Darryl James
