New Sourcing/Tech Show to Bow in New York

Source International, a new trade show covering global sourcing and supply-chain management, will launch in New York next January.

The show, set for Jan 12–14 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, is aimed at bridging the gap between the world’s suppliers and the American marketplace with products serving material, technology and fashion sources. It is being produced by organizers of the former Pan American Leather Fair.

Among the items to be shown are leather, textiles, synthetics and trims; software for design, supply-chain management, logistics, packaging, online payment and marketing; and items from manufacturer suppliers of apparel, footwear, leather goods, upholstery and accessories.

“The American market buys 64 percent of the world’s production,” said Raymond Bianchi, show director. “With Source International, we are creating a unique meeting place for all the elements in the supply chains of these industries.”
