Style on Rodeo
Badgley and Mischka’s Rodeo Drive boutique in Beverly Hills, Calif., served as the backdrop for the recent kickoff of the “Jaguar’s Tribute to Style on Rodeo Drive 2002” event slated for Sept. 23.
Organizers announced at the July 16 evening party that the upcoming fund-raiser, in its fifth installment, will focus on “art and performance,” featuring a trunk show from Rodeo Drive boutiques, a live auction of a 2003 Jaguar XKR, an art exhibition from Rodeo Drive designers, and a performance by the New Yorkbased dance troupe Complexions.
Co-chairs for the fund-raiser are Ruth and Jake Bloom, Susan and Jonathan Dolgen, Jo Champa and Joseph Farrell, Wendy and Leonard Goldberg, Jamie and Chris McGurk, and Jamie and Steve Tisch. Fashion industry co-chairs are Nora Bedrossian from Gucci, Colleen O’Kane from Christian Dior and Tobi Sargent from Bulgari.
The Entertainment Industry Foundation’s National Arts Education Initiative, geared to providing arts education in schools, will serve as this year’s key beneficiary. The Museum of Contemporary Art and Teach for America are among the local beneficiaries. —Nola Sarkisian-Miller
