CMC Adds New Leasing Director for Gift
The California Market Center (CMC) has hired Joan A. Woods as leasing director for the home decor category.
Previously Woods was director of specialty leasing with TrizecHahn Development, where she helped develop several of the company’s shopping centers, including the Hollywood & Highland complex in Los Angeles and Paseo Colorado in Pasadena, Calif.
She will report to Paul Lentz, general manager of the CMC.
Woods joins Tracy Stier and Jim Nahin, who are also directors of leasing for the center.
The CMC was formed last year by dmg world media, the Dallas Market Center (DMC) and GLM, with dmg holding the master lease with Hertz Investment Corp., owner of the California Mart. It now encompasses the Cal Mart and its apparel offerings and several floors of gift and home accessories showrooms, with plans to extend the gift portion to occupy half of the complex. Market Center Management Co. manages the CMC, the DMC and, under a newly formed deal, the ShanghaiMart in China.
