California Minimum Wage Increased
The California minimum wage increased to $6.75 as of Jan. 1, exceeding the national minimum wage by $1.60. At $6.75, California and Massachusetts have the second highest hourly wage in the country. Washington state’s minimum wage is the highest at $6.90.
