Chow Tapped as Tarrant CFO

Patrick Chow has been named chief financial officer of Los Angeles-based private-label denim maker Tarrant Apparel Group. In his new position, Chow will report to Gerard Guez, chairman.

Chow replaces Scott Briskie, who left the company to pursue other business opportunities but will continue to work at the company on a consulting basis.

“We’re grateful to Scott Briskie for everything he has done over the past few years and wish him well. We’re also happy to have Patrick Chow take on the responsibilities of CFO. He brings 25 years of experience to the position and we’re confident in his abilities to help us reach the next level,” said Eddy Yuen, chief executive officer of Tarrant.

Chow has served as treasurer for the maker of casualwear for men, women and juniors since 1998. Prior to that he held management positions at Fortune Chart Consultants Ltd. in Hong Kong and Bonaventure Textiles Group, where he was later promoted to executive vice president. —Claudia Figueroa
