Hertz Sews Up Deal With Harkham
Hertz Investment Group, owner of the California Mart, has sold off two of its Los Angeles fashion district properties to Uri Harkham of Hype/Jonathan Martin fame for an undisclosed sum.
The one- and four-story buildings, located at 1011 and 1031-43 Los Angeles Street, are used for office and warehouse space and are adjacent to the Jonathan Martin manufacturing facility as well as another property Harkham owns on the southeast corner of Olympic Boulevard and Los Angeles Street.
Harkham will manage the property under A&H Management, the real estate firm that he runs with business partner Moshe Aflalo. A&H has been gradually growing its fashion district portfolio. It also has an upcoming retail project called Maple Fashion Walk in the works.
A representative of A&H said the company plans to continue operating the new Los Angeles Street assets under their current uses. —Robert McAllister
