Third Rail Hires New Creative Team
Los Angeles-based Third Rail Clothing recently announced the addition of Lena Hermansson and Lorraine Getz to the lifestyle clothing company. Hermansson, former designer at BC Ethic and a freelance stylist, is now the head designer of Third Rail, and Getz, formerly of Kik Wear Industries, is now national sales manager and merchandiser of the young men’s and junior lines.
“With the addition of these two creative women to our company, we hope to cater to our hardcore clientele while expanding Third Rail’s customer base,” said Kelly Graval, founder of Third Rail.
Graval will continue to develop the cutting-edge graphics that have given the company its identity. Getz and Hermansson will develop the cut-and-sew line with novel trims, including custom patches, embroideries and innovative bodies.
Third Rail will debut its new Summer collection at the upcoming Action Sports Retailer Trade Expo and its Fall collection at MAGIC International in February. —Darryl James
