Pacific Connections Acquires Red Light

Red Light Inc., a Los Angeles-based contemporary women’s sportswear, missy, junior and petites manufacturer, has been acquired by Ontario, Calif.-based leather goods manufacturer Pacific Connections Inc.

“This acquisition furthers our strategy of servicing our customers’ need at all levels of distribution in the U.S. and internationally,” said Martin Terzian, chief executive officer of Pacific Connections and president of Red Light.

Red Light is the maker of Red Light, Tess and Tess Studio labels, which are sold at department stores including Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Burdines and Lord & Taylor. The company also produces private label for JCPenney stores.

Pacific Connections ships about $150 million worth of goods a year in the United States, Canada and Mexico and has operations in New York, California, Toronto, Mexico City, Germany and Hong Kong, according to a company spokeswoman.

The company also announced the appointment of Natalie Wierzba as executive vice president of sales and marketing of Red Light. —Claudia Figueroa
