Vans Has Branched Into the Music Business
Vans has branched into the music business. The Santa Fe Springs-based footwear and apparel maker has been sponsoring the Warped Tour, an annual alternative music festival, for six years and has partnered with alternative band Pennywise’s Jim Lindberg to form Vans Records. The music company will be housed in Vans corporate offices, and the first Vans Records releases are planned for later this spring. A launch party for the label is planned for April 25 in Hollywood.
