Prices Roses as Unemployment Fell

Prices rose as unemployment fell in January, according to the Labor Department. Consumer prices rose 0.2 percent in February—a 1.1 percent gain over the same time last year—and national unemployment claims dropped by 12,000 to 371,000. Analysts say both figures indicate a recovering economy without the threat of inflation.
