Investronica to Open in L.A.

Investronica Systems, a computer-aided design software maker for the apparel industry, is opening a Los Angeles office in the California Market Center (formerly the California Mart).

The office is set to open later this month on the 11th floor of the center and will handle sales and service. Investronica is a 25-year-old technology firm whose corporate headquarters are based in Madrid, Spain. The U.S. headquarters is in Norcross, Ga.

Investronica currently markets a suite of software applications for design and pattern making under the Invesmark Futura label. The products offer computer-aided design solutions for small, medium and large apparel companies as well as freelance designers. The company also markets a series of plug-ins for knitwear design and wovens along with 3-D features and Internet compatibility.
