U.S. firms expect to increase hiring in the third quarter of the year, according to a recent survey by Manpower Inc. The Wisconsin-based staffing company surveyed more than 15,000 companies representing 477 different markets. The results are the most positive in more than a year, according to the company, which found 27 percent of manufacturers of non-durable goods anticipated increasing hiring later this year.
