Wal-Mart West
Arkansas retail giant Wal-Mart announced plans to open 40 supercenters in California in the next four to six years, although no locations were named. Wal-Mart supercenters carry both groceries and discount goods. This marks the retailer’s entry into California. Wal-Mart currently has 3,000 stores in the United States and supercenters in 45 states.
