A&F's Latest

Teen retailer Abercrombie & Fitch sparked more controversy by selling a collection of thong underwear in their Abercrombie stores, a retail division targeting girls and boys ages 7 to 14. The American Family Association, a Mississippi-based Christian organization, and two online child advocacy groups, OneMillionMoms.com and OneMillionDads.com, launched a protest against the retailer, arguing that the underwear was too sexy for Abercrombie’s young customers. The retailer has since pulled the underwear line from the stores. Last month, A&F pulled a line of T-shirts featuring racist caricatures of Asians after drawing protests from consumers. And the company’s magalog, A&F Quarterly, continues to draw parental ire with its racy photos.
