Local Recognition
Los Angeles designer Kevan Hall recently received top honors at the 47th Annual Gold Coast Fashion Award Show at the Chicago Hilton and Towers International Ballroom. Hall was up against designers Michael Akers, Yigal Azrouel, Julie Chaiken, Paul Chan, James Coviello, Geri Gerard, David Rodriguez and Michael Solheil. The show, which was sponsored by LaSalle Bank, is produced annually by the Children’s Service Board of Children’s Memorial Hospital. This year’s event helped the Children’s Service Board pass the $1.2 million mark in its 2002 commitment to Pediatric Cardiac Services at Children’s Memorial.
