Designers Step In for Cancer Benefit

Los Angeles designers Richard Tyler, Estevan Ramos, Michelle Mason, Corey Lynn Calter, Monah Li, Natalie Seaver and Trina Turk are among those donating garments to Sherry Lansing’s Stop Cancer charity for a “Little Black Dress” benefit at Cicada restaurant in downtown Los Angeles on Nov. 8. All clothing will be sold via silent auction. Additional items will include Billabong snowboarding equipment; gift baskets from Allen Edwards Serenity Spa, Lola Cosmetics and Hard Candy Cosmetics; dinner at Cicada; and a copy of Gianni Versace’s book “The Art of Being You” from the Michael Dawson Gallery.

KCRW’s Lisa Richardson and World Evolution’s Miles Maeda will provide music, while Jennifer Wolf will perform painting demonstrations live throughout the evening.
