Sales Mixed
Retailers reported mixed sales results for the secondto- last weekend before the Christmas holiday. Many analysts said they expected to see sales rise following the Dec. 14 announcement that former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein had been captured. But heavy snow in the Northeast may have kept shoppers at home.
