Israeli Childrenswear Line Bows at MAGIC

Shilav Apparel, an infants’ and childrenswear manufacturer in Tel Aviv, Israel, is preparing to launch a contemporary children’s apparel line that features clean, bright looks created by a European design team.

Shilav will unveil the Fall/Winter 2003 line at the MAGICkids apparel show. The collection offers youthful, modern styles for newborns, infants and toddlers and uses extra- soft fabrics that come in colors such as deep pink, light blue and cream.

Knitted covers with ribbed-velour applications, corduroy jumpers, and corduroy tops with printed appliqueacute;s or embroidery and matching bottoms are just a few looks in the collection, which is made from 100 percent cotton. Initial deliveries begin May 30, with wholesale price points ranging from $5 to $15.

All of the collections are currently sold at major department stores and specialty chains.
