Deborah Belgum Joins California Apparel News Staff
Veteran journalist Deborah Belgum has joined the editorial staff of California Apparel News as senior editor. Belgum was most recently with the Los Angeles Business Journal, where she covered the retail industry. Her career experience includes stints at the Los Angeles Times, the Orange County Register, the Stockton Record and the Associated Press.
Belgum holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Colorado, where she also received her bachelor of arts degree in international affairs and Spanish.
“We are very excited to have Debbie on the team at California Apparel News,” said executive editor Alison A. Nieder. “Her experience and knowledge of the apparel and retail industries will be a strong asset to the paper.”
