Snow Sales
The blizzard that dumped 2 feet of snow on several East Coast states also contributed to a drop in retail sales on Presidents Day, according to the National Retail Federation. The organization said retailers not only lost money as a result of missed business but also as a result of ad placements for Presidents Day sales.
