Size USA Coming To FIDM Campus

Cary, N.C.-based TC2, which produces 3- D sizing scanners for the sewn products industry, is bringing its national sizing survey, Size USA, to the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles beginning Jan. 21.

The company will use its 3-D-body measurement scanner to capture sizing data on male and female subjects. The data will then be analyzed and summary results provided to sponsoring organizations for a better understanding of body shapes for use not only in apparel, but also in the automotive, aerospace and furniture industries. The Los Angeles venue is one stop along a 10-city tour to obtain a representative cross section of the U.S. population.

Appointments will be scheduled during regular campus hours, with incentives of either $20 cash or a $25 retail gift card offered to qualified subjects. Information on the survey and its sponsors is available at www.sizeusa.com.
