Novelty sportswear is the concept behind New York-based Zelda. The company is owned by THL Inc., and is under the direction of husband and wife team Philip Gaynor and designer Julie Gaynor. The two strive for Hollywood glamour looks by creating 1940s-inspired suitings, such as the Alexis Coat, a satin-crepe button-down, and the Georgie skirt, a long, front-pleated skirt, also in crepe. Wholesale priced points from $65 to $350, the collection is sold at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Ames, Jordan’s and M. Cole. —Claudia Figueroa
