Retail Sales
Guess? Inc. reported that retail sales for the four weeks ended May 31, 2003, were up 18.7 percent to $29.9 million from sales of $25.2 million for the four weeks ended June 1, 2002. Comparable-store sales for the May period increased 10.3 percent.
Comparable-store sales for the company’s full-priced retail stores increased 9 percent, and comparable-store sales at the factory outlet stores increased 13.8 percent.
