Moss Adams, CMC to Host Designer Awards
Los Angeles-based accounting firm Moss Adams announced plans to partner with the California Market Center to present the Moss Adams Fashion Innovator Awards, which will be held April 4 at CMC’s Directional Fall ’03 show at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.
A panel of judges made up of retailers and press will choose from a list of local contemporary and menswear designers who have brought California style to the fashion market as a whole, said Melissa Cunningham of Mobley Marketing Communications.
“It is thrilling to join with Moss Adams in recognizing the design and retail talent generated on the West Coast,” said Mary Hill, executive director of special events for the CMC. “The nominees will be true innovators of our industry.”
Moss Adams’ participation during Los Angeles Fashion Week is part of the company’s attempt to gain some visibility among the buyers and businesses that will attend the shows.
