30 Seconds at the Block
Aspiring singers will get their shot at 30 seconds of fame during the “Become a Block Star” event at The Block At Orange mall in Orange. Beginning June 5, contestants will compete every Thursday evening to win a prize package worth more than $3,000. Each contestant will get 30 seconds to wow judges with his or her a-cappella singing. A final competition will be held July 24, when two grand-prize winners and several runners-up will be selected.
