The Return of Jil
Jil Sander has returned to the German-based label that bears her name. Sander left the company two years ago, after Italian luxury company Prada Group purchased the label. The label suffered in her absence, posting net losses of $30.6 million last year. Jil Sander AG, the publicly held division that produces the line, announced the designer has returned to helm the company and will sit on Prada’s strategic committee.
