Intentia Signs On Ocean Sky International
Swedish apparel management company Intentia International has inked a partnership with Singapore apparel manufacturer Ocean Sky International Ltd. to implement Intentia’s Movex Fashion software package across the company’s global operations.
Ocean Sky supplies apparel for Gap Inc., DKNY, The May Department Stores Co., Sears, Roebuck and Co., Mervyn’s, Target, Foot Locker and Phillips-Van Heusen Corp., among others. Movex will support Ocean Sky’s key business processes, including manufacturing, financials, supply-chain management and customer-relationship management. Movex will also provide Ocean Sky with real-time integrated information and analysis capabilities.
Ocean Sky has approximately 9,000 employees across a network of marketing, sourcing and production facilities in nine countries.
Chief Executive Officer Edward Ang said the company chose Movex’s automated solution because it needed to improve “functionality, flexibility, scalability and reliability.” —Robert McAllister
