McQueen Honored
Alexander McQueen was recognized as Designer of the Year at the Lycra British Styles Awards 2003 event, held Sept. 25 in London. Other designers honored included Sophia Kokosalaki, Manolo Blahnik, Julien Macdonald and Paul Smith. Retail boutique Reiss received the High Street fashion retailer award. This is the first year Lycra has sponsored the awards event.
