Partnership Streamlines Color

Color-systems provider Pantone Inc., based in Carlstadt, N.J., and Malaysian-based online color-collaboration company eWarna Ltd. have formed a partnership. Pantone will supply eWarna with nearly 2,000 colors from its color library for use within eWarna’s stable of software solutions.

The partnership will allow apparel/textile and home furnishings companies to use the same color standards from inception through production, said Pantone President Richard Herbert.

XMatch, XDyes and LabWorks Pro solutions for online color management, color recipe formulation and quality-control services are marketed by eWarna. The solutions— which cater to buying departments, agents, mills and other parties—allow access to central color databases as well as to status summaries and reports for palette creations and color matching.
