Levi's All Offshore
San Francisco- based denim maker Levi Strauss & Co. will shutter its remaining North American sewing and finishing operations next year and move all production offshore. Factories in San Antonio and three in Canada will close by March 2004 and nearly 2,000 people will lose their jobs.
