Shauna Stein Unveils On Sunset Festivities
Retailer Shauna Stein will kick off her new store, On Sunset, April 15 with a celebrity-studded party at film industry watering hole Le Dome. Live models will demonstrate new clothes behind store windows at both Le Dome and On Sunset, located across the street from the restaurant, at 8711 Sunset Blvd.
The retailer held a soft opening party on April 1 at the new store. Many long-term clients of Stein and business partner Lauralee Bell sipped cosmopolitans and nibbled on California rolls while checking out the new wares from Roberto Cavalli, Cavalli Class, Blue Marine, Anna Molinari, Barbara Bui, Plein Sud Jeans, Jean Paul Gaultier, Transit, Moschino and Rene Lazard.
Stein said the 2,800-square-foot shop, located between La Cienega and San Vincente boulevards, is situated next to more dining, shopping and other activities preferred by her clients than was her former store, On Beverly, near the Beverly Center. Stein said Sunset Boulevard’s active pedestrian traffic was also an attraction. —A.A.
