Mr. Armani Goes to China
Giorgio Armani boutiques have been in China since 1998, but this month, the country will host Armani himself. The tour kicks off in Beijing, where the designer will visit his Armani boutique at the Palace Hotel, and then he will head to Shanghai to kick off a boutique opening with a party and a fashion show. The designer will host another fashion show in Hong Kong to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Armani/ Chater House, a 3,000-squaremeter, multi-brand Armani shop that is the company’s second-largest store worldwide.
