Sean Jean and Zac
New York–based Sean Jean Clothing Inc. and designer Zac Posen announced plans to form a joint venture. The unexpected partnership pairs brand powerhouse Sean Jean, which hip-hop mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs launched in 1998, with 24-year-old Posen, whose elegant, retro-inspired women’s collection has been a press and celebrity favorite since he started his company four years ago. Sean Jean designer and founder Combs started his brand with logo-driven men’s T-shirts and jeans but quickly expanded into a more sophisticated line that has become a topseller in several large department stores.
